The USCF rated National Open Scholastic Trophy Tournament is just for fun, with a low entry fee and lots of trophies. It's open to students under age 20 and rated below 1800. There will be 5 rounds at Game/30.

In 3 Sections: Under 1800 or unrated and born after June 5th, 1988

Under 1200 and born after June 5th, 1989

or unrated and born after June 5th, 1997

Under 800 or unrated and born after June 5th, 1997

The June USCF Rating Supplement will be used. If your rating changes in the June supplement you will be moved up automatically or down on request.

Trophies will be awarded to the top 4 players in each section and one in each 200 point rating group and unrated.

The advance entry fee is only $29 by May 19th, $35 by June 3rd. $40 on site.

Late registration 9-9:45 a.m., rounds at 10-11:15-12:30-1:45-3

Membership in the U.S. Chess Federation is required of all players. Players will not be allowed to complete the tournament without a valid membership.
