  IM John Donaldson GM Larry Evans, GM Larry Evans will be on hand each round to analyze your tournament games for free. The 5-time U.S. Champion is author of numerous books an the most popluar sindicated column on the planet. Let Grandmaster Evans start you on the road to better play. Sessions begin 2 hours after the start of each round.

      Sunday 1:00 p.m.    Essential Endgames

GM Susan Polgar will give a lecture Friday as part of the Susan Polgar World Open for Girls and Boys. It is primarily for players and their coaches and families, but others are welcome as space permits.

On Saturday GM Polgar will give another lecture of more general appeal.

Rulebook Tactics. Learn the rulebook secrets for making the rules work for you while avoiding typical "chess lawyer" tricks. NTD Tim Just, author of the current USCF Rulebook, will lead the discussions. This Sunday afternoon lecture is for all players, not just for tournament directors.

BUGHOUSE

Players and tournament directors wanting more in-depth training than the free lectures can provide are encouraged to sign up for our Thursday Chess Camp.

Bughouse Techniques Bughouse Chess co-author Nephtali Diaz will talk about techniques and tactics for this popular chess variant.
GM Arthur Bisguier who was originally scheduled to analyze player games is unable to attend. We thank Grandmaster Evans for filling in at the last minute.
